I teach English as a Foreign Language to 5th and 6th grade pupils. I view learning by doing so I try to use project-based learning activities as often as possible. For that reason I coordinate several projects @ my school, namely European projects for all the benefits they bring for both schools, teachers, pupils and parents.
Presently, I am involved in Financial Education, Computer Programming in the Primary School and CLIL projects. I am also an eTwinner since 2008 and no longer view my teaching strategies without eTwinning as it became a must tool for my pupils and for me in terms of motivation and professional development.
Constant professional development is also a key issue in my teaching way of being finding very inspirational the idea of Continuing Professional Development in a collaborative manner as it happens in the eTwinning community, either by developing school projects or by attending online events.

Teaching English as a foreign language and Portuguese as a mother tongue to students aged 9 to 12 years old. Responsible for developing lesson plans, preparing instruction materials, designing formative and sumative assessment, preparing progress reports and evaluating students, using ICT and project-based learning as a teaching tool; coordinator of the School’s Cluster European Club and European projects: Erasmus+ KA2 Partnerships and eTwinning.
